Ingredients

  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese softened
  • 1 wheel (8 oz) Brie rind removed and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 0.33 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 box (8 oz) crackers for serving

Equipment

  • 1 1 1/2-quart baking dish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Mix in the Brie until combined.
  5. Spread the mixture in the prepared dish.
  6. Spoon the cranberry sauce over the cheese mixture.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until hot and bubbling around the edges.
  8. Sprinkle the pecans over the dip.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  10. Serve warm with the crackers.

Notes

For the smoothest mixture, soften the cream cheese before beating. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; freezing is not recommended. For a nut-free option, omit the pecans.
